Just because they have a judgement against you doesn't mean they will automatically garnish your wages. It is their option to take the judgement to another level and file a court action to enforce that judgement. If they have some collateral on the loan they could try to repossess it first. Or they could file to satify the judgement with a garnishment of wage. If you can talk to them and work out payment arrangements they may work with you to resolve the judgement without going that far.

That's what a judgement is. The judge gave the finance company the right to garnish your wages or do whatever they have to do to get the money you owe them.

in a heartbeat! Did you go to court yet, either way try and arrange a payment plan with them, to avoid the humiliation it will cause by them garnishing your wages.

The court will order a garnishment.

Possibly and put a black mark on your credit rating so that you can never get a card or car or house or any loan. The $2000 is in reality not your money but theirs so they can get it how they like.
