I am 15 and I weigh almost 190 pounds. My sister who is 22 is about 130 pounds but is 5'10 and beautiful. she is a model. I am so jelouds of her and I wish I could be her for just one day. But all she does is make fun of me. She calls me a fat slob and fatty. It hurts me so much and I told her to stop but she won't.

Your sister is small minded. You should work on your strengths and not worry about her. If you want to lose weight you should limit your calories to around 1500 per day and get some exercise daily. Start with walking or easy bike riding. As your abilities increase build up to around one hour per day. As time goes on you can increase the intensity. Don't be in a hurry, you should not lose more that 1-2 pounds per week. You may lose more at first, but stick with the plan either way. In the mean time work on your current strengths. As Judge Judy says "Beauty fades, dumb lasts forever". Good Luck.

Your sister sounds very immature and selfish. Shame on her for treating you like that. She's 22? Wow, she sounds like she's 15 and you sound like you are 22! Slowly start to make some changes. She will notice a difference. You know what? You are a beautiful person no matter what! Her attitude is pityful!!!

Try not to let her see your hurt. Teasing you probably makes her feel better about herself, which it certainly shouldn't. As long as you're happy and content with yourself, there's nothing anyone can do to hurt you. If you must, do what you can to achieve an appearance YOU are happy with, not your sister. Remember you're only 15, so your body is still changing. See who has the last laugh in 5 or 10 years' time.

She's just jealous of you. People tend to put other people down by saying ugly things about you to pull there self esteem up. True beauty is from within and thats only her ignorance and true color thats in her thats coming out. know what I mean. Besides your only 15 you still have a long time to bloom into to something she might be afraid of. Just carry yourself in a respectful manner and things will work out fine. I promise! please don't worry Lisa, beauty is more than just physical..what really matters is the type of person you are ..but if you just want to lose weight that is fine enough as being overweight has its shortcomings...first get to know the concept of calories..different foodstuff has different calories..consume about 1500cals to begin with and do a lot of aerobic exercises and in a few years you will be more beautiful than your sister... do not starve yourself or try to lose weight in a short time as you will have more ill effects of doing that..if you have difficulties in planning then do consult a dietitian and plan but do remember that there is more to life than weight ....be a good person and how much you weigh and how you look will never matter!!

please dont be jealous of your sister im qiute sure you have good quilities maybe your sister doesnt possess. I have been overwieght my whole life and im to the point i love me and you have to do the same try walking and drinking lots of water before meals. it does help good luck.and by your sister hurting your feelings by calling you names must mean she is problay jealous of you like i said before you have other things going for you it is what is in the heart that matters. laugh when she calls you a name cause that will make her feel like a heel.
