It's almost impossible, sad to say, but the stores do sell a rinse *like good ole Dawn or Palmolive* for fruits and veggies. IMO, its just an excuse to get you to spend $$. I just scrub them in good ole hot water

You can't. The wax is edible and tasteless.

I used to work for Decco, the company that manufactures 99% of the citrus waxes.

If you buy organic, you will grate bugs and bug eggs into your dish.

perhaps they're hallucinating and you look like a sizable strolling fruit? You reek of vodka besides so this is only a organic association. I wish I smelled like espresso with Baileys in it.
