I think you need to figure out why you need to keep eating. Do you eat because you're hungry or because you seek comfort in food? If its the latter, you suffer from emotional eating and i would suggest talking to a professional about it and sort whatever issues you have. If its the former, you need to reduce your appetite. Try eating smaller meals - eat 5-6 small meals a day. Cut back on anything that makes your sugar level rise i.e. white flour, white breads, white pasta, etc. Introduce a new item in your diet weekly - multigrain bread, wholemeal pasta, some low carb fruits, etc so you're not likely to go back to your old eating habits. Its a lifestyle change so go slow and steady. Try incorporating some exercises in your lifestyle too - maybe start walking a little bit more and at a later stage you can try something more strenuous. Hope this helps. Good luck.

It could be medical, psychological or just habit. You don't mention your age. When I was 20 my co-workers and I were all eating about 9000 calories a day. About 3 times a normal days eating, none of us gained weight. Why? We were teaching Mountain Climbing and so buring many times the normal number of calories needed normally each day.

Try walking and work your way up to running and don't take food with you when you go. Take a friend I suggest one with 4 legs. If you don't have one I'm sure any neighbour with one would appriciate your offer of walking their dog each day.

I've seen terrific changes amoung soldiers as basic training progressed and what the army uses to improve fitness is almost exclusively walking and running.
