to make a long story short I need to make a couple of celebrities pictures have a completely white (transparent) backgroud, where its only there face, any PICTURE Program (freeware if possible) that will do that?

i use photoshop to edit all my pictures its a great program you can do so much with it you can use filters to disort the image and can make it transparent you can rotate, you can take something and make it look 10x better its great.
adobe photoshop cs2 is GREAT

my only experience with this type of thing is to erase everything you don't want and then save onto a transparent (or any color you want )background.
