Thankfully Jesus didn't come to establish a religon but to establish a relationship with the Lord. The Bible mentions Churches which displease God because of their hypocrisy, false doctrine etc., and as a result I believe many so called churches of today have had their "candle stick" removed by the Lord. The Candlestick as mentioned in the Bible is synbolic of the receptacle which holds the oli, the oil represents the Holy Spirit and when the Lord has withdrawn his presence from there all manner of things go wrong as they are then serving the Lord in the energies of the flesh and not the Spirit.

Remember, the earth amd all that is in it - including churches - is not God's; although satan has no use for godly people
When satan took Jesus on the mount an promised him everything, that was because it was his to give. It certainly suits satan's will to have people driven away because of scandal.
People have free will. Sometimes they choose poorly. It is important to remember that any pastor is still only a frail person. Have your faith in God, and know the importance of Salvation.
I would recommend "The Lost Choice"by Andy Andrews.

Evil is a fact of life.
Read the old testament account of the chosen people and see all the stupid and disgusting things they did.
Even Christ experienced a failure rate of around 8% (1 out of 12) in the apostles that he hand picked.
When good men fail to act, or fail to attend to business, evil quickly takes over.
It's like weeds popping up in your lawn. Constant attention is always necessary.
No Catholics that I know ever even imaged that anything like the priestly abuse scandal could ever happen.

God allows man to control and decide his own destiny. If He didn't there would be little or no point in the concept of faith and God would control man to the point of forcing us to worship Him. God wants nothing more than your love. He doesn't want you to worship Him in any other way but love. He loves us unconditionally and He would like the same from us.

Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

GOD does not allow anything. Right now we are in control until He takes over. It is like you and your dad. He raises you and teaches you right from wrong and then sends you on your way.He helps you from time to time but basically you are in control. Those so called people of GOD will have to answer for themselves.

Because it is not Blessed of God..
A church that teaches only how to give more money to the church, is not Blessed of God.

He gave people the right to choose, people will suffer the consequences of their actions sooner or later. God does not run his church, he gave that job to people!

Perhaps so that we could see that our church leaders are still human and not begin to follow them blindly. We as humans tend to put our faith in what we can actually see. So we have to be reminded that our religious leaders aren't to be followed without question.

God's sanctuary is for the hurting and all who need Him. But his house is not for hypocrates and I am sure he doesnt need evil in there just as you wouldnt want evil in your home. God welcomes us in his house with open arms but its our decision whether we want to be there or not. He says he is a jealous God! Therefore he cannot allow you in His house and you are serving the devil, otherwise you will pollute it!! He does house-cleaning too!!!!
