after living the last 2 years singl on my own choice for having a bad expeience dating( long story short girl i was dating was a bi sexual and she was cheating on y plus she acted way to much like a man) i need some help getting this girl i realy love. now i have had realy good looking girl friends before but dang the girl i like shines like sun during the day and the moon at night. i mean seirously she is drop dead gogeous. now i forgot how to imress a girl over the years(i should no since i realy used to be able to impress ladies but that was a while ago.) and i need some help getting to know this one and asking her to the dance or a movie. please my heart pounds like a hammer hiting an anvil when i see her or think of her, i need some tips BADLY!! (hey u know whats weird im not a sensitive person at all considering im a future marine who cant stand soft subjects like this and like to play violent games and stuffect.. but when im around her its like im in heaven and i can realte.

Hmmm, sounds like you need to slow down. You are letting you feelings go too wild. Once you get in the corp you won't need a girlfriend and they will tell you that right up front. Just like they told me. "If the Marine Corps wanted you to have a girlfriend, we would issue you one!"

Ultimately you're afraid of rejection. And with that, afraid you're going to fail if you approach her for a date. Well, all that can be advised is to simply face it. How often do our worst fears come true? Not often. You are creating all these horrible ideas of failing her. Be yourself. Start out with the baby steps, like simple conversation, eye contact, smile, interest in what she says...anything she says. Then asking if she'd like to go out sometime. :) It's all about being yourself and giving her your utmost attention.
You could be the toughest guy in the world, but when it comes to love...that's a whole different ball park. It's about opening and accessing that precious part of you, and that's very tender. Tough has nothing to do with it. ;)

relax and don't try or look, just hang out with ur friends in a club or a pool hall, somewhere where other people will be, it always happens when u aren't looking
