Maybe he is proposing a date with her. I cannot imagine he is ready to jump in and get married without having a relationship first. Besides, if she is only separated, that means she is still married, and he would be smart to stay out of her life until she is legally divorced.

Did the man say will you marry me? If not, he's not proposing. The man is simply interested in the woman, and wants to know if she's emotionally ready to date or get into a relationship, since she's not actually divorced yet.
Boy...how did you jump from interest to propsal? That kind of thing could really cause some awkard misunderstandings in the future.

No, He wants to know if she is ready for a relationship with him. I doubt he means marriage or he would have said that.

y would u think that he would b proposin if hes askin if shes ready for a new love life? i dont see where theres any clue of wantin to get married to her. that doesnt mean that he doesnt want to but he might not want to right now. i think that right now he jus wants to start a relationship with her and possibly itll lead to gettin married.
