My parents' anniversary is coming up and I'll be home that day to set up, so I need something like a very, very small dessert to make that is simple but has no sugar and is low in calories. I don't want to make something big, like a whole batch of cookies or a cake or anything, because we're not much of sweet-eaters. Just one individual...something. We are also vegetarian so please nothing with meat.

Well I just don't know now, no meat? How can you have dessert with no meat. No Cake No Ice Cream No Cookies and Nothing big. Split a banana for them, peel it first, Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad from The Yahoo Gang (can you believe that? no meat)

One suggestion is angel food cake with strawberries and meringue. You can sweeten the meringue a little with Splenda. And, you can make individual little cakes in muffin tins. It is low in calories and sugar. It can be made to look very fancy if you want, and isn't too sweet at all. Plus, you can buy the angel food cake already made or get it from a box mix.

I understand - we have three diabetics in our family -

Angel food cake with cool whip and strawberries sweetened with Splenda is always good.

Splenda also comes in brown sugar style now - so one really decadent thing would be to get the large fresh strawberries. Set them out with a bowl of sour cream and a bowl of this Splenda brown sugar. Dip the strawberry in the sour cream and then into the brown sugar and eat - they are wonderful!

Another suggestion would be to use Jello sugar free pudding layered in a bowls of angel food cake cubes and fresh fruit. YUMMY! Bananas and banana pudding. Strawberries and vanilla or chocolate pudding. Peaches and vanilla pudding. Just a few suggestions.

Hope this helps!
