Switzerland (Confoederatio Helvetica) is an officially neutral country, and does not engage in wars outside its borders. It will only use military force to defend itself against outside aggression.
Therefore, no; Switzerland will not go to a war in the Middle East.
UPDATE: The Swiss Guards at the Vatican are not part of the Swiss Army. They are mercenaries.

Switzerlands army is used ONLY in Vatican City. I doubt the Pope will send a contingent to Iraq! lol Switzerland is truly neutral in its dealings and is internationally respected for that.
