Miniature Daschunds. They are comical looking, but so cute. Smart and very loyal. A little stubborn, but very intelligent. My Doxie knows about ten tricks and is my best friend!

Obvously I have a very extensive list!!
I adore working breeds, including the herders, hounds, and sporting group dogs. I am very active with my 9 dogs, in some form or another, so I love dogs that can work for me. But there are exceptions, because I think all dogs are wonderul and fit my lifestyle well.

As a child we had great dane dogs and they're lovely. Although large they are low maitenence, very loyal, great with kids and really fun playful dogs.
I now have a bearded collie and he's also great, although still a puppy he's a little more vocal than I would have liked. He is really high maitenence as he has a long coat but I love grooming him so I don't mind. I don't really like small dogs, they get under feet and are really yappy as a rule. I think the bigger the better.

Austrailan Shepherd.
Everyone I know that has one or has had one loves them. They are loyal to their owner and extremely smart. No matter what anyone ever says about you, your Aussie will think you are the grandest person on earth.
got to love that about a dog! You will always be number one in their book no matter how stupid you act.
Second choice would be a husky if you can give it the time it requires. They are demanding but willing to please.

I have 3 German Shorthair Pointers. Hans, my oldest at 10 years old, was rescued and I've had him since he was 18 months old. My family fell in love with him so much we got a puppy, Gunny, who is now 6 years old and my third, Molly now 3, came by way of my "cat person, I'll never have a dog" daughter.
I love and take care of them all. They remind me of my children: loving, obnoxious, protective, easily bored, caring, demanding, good looking, always hungry and constantly needing money (oops! sorry, that's just the daughter in college). Hope this answers your question.

Springer Spaniel..
I've had two. The first one I had was when I was like a toddler. He died about the time I went into jr.high. Anyway, he was always really faithful. He'd walk every day up to my bus stop and wait for me to get home. He would always let me dress him up and tie cute little bows to his ears.<3
They're just awesome dogs..

I own a Chihuahua and I'm very happy with him. He's friendly, energetic, loving and sweet-tempered. Chihuahuas are also the smallest of all breeds making them easy to manage.

i love rottweilers! they are very faithful. even thought they have a bad reputation for being "the mean gaurd dog" they are gentle at heart. i grew up withone. My mom let our old rottweiler come up and lick my face and everything when i was younger (there are pictures of me taking naps with her when i was just a baby) lol. she even saved my life one! my mom was walkign the dog while pushing my brother in the stroller. i was a few years old, it hink 5. so i was riding ahead on my big wheel and our neighbors garage door was open and my mom saw their pit bull mix dog running towards me. our rottweiler started to act up so my mom just let the leash go. and she fought off the pitbull mix and saved my life =)
im 19 now and want another rottie! =)
right now i have a chihuahua pomeranian mix(he may hae some sheltie in him though) =| i like bigger dogs better than smaller ones. you can wrestle with them not not have to worry abotu hurting them lol

German Shepherd.
Mine was the love of my life. He was apparently the loves of many females shepherds as well.
The lives he saved can't be counted, but he saved me twice, once from a rapist and the other too horrific to say.
When he died, he was not only surrounded by all the love in the world, but by police who had his kids, they brought their dogs, and I brought over 70 people to say goodbye.
he died like he lived. loved
