I don't think it is the condition causing the liver problem but rather the condition of the liver it's self. Is it end stage where little can be done or can medication help.

I think it is the cause of the condition and the state of the patient that determines who gets the liver. Also who got their name in first.

my guess would be hep b. hep b isnt that bad though its hep c thats got the problems I think. Im no doctor but I think someone who refuse to quit drinking would also give up his chance to get a new liver.

they won't give a liver to an alcoholic who is still drinking, so the person with Hep B.

probably hep b, since its not really they're fault and they dont continue to make it worse
