I have a bad driving record and will be up for reinstatement in April, How ahrd is it to get my license reinstated? What all should I do to prove that my life has changed and is heading in a much, much better path and thatI know longer wnat to be the person i was before? just wondering if anyone can help me out that has experienced this here in Michigan?

where I live all you have to do is take the driver's test and pay a reinstatement fee

im from michigan i havent had my liscense for 5 years from 2 dui's and i recentially went for my hearing to try to get it back and i had it denied and cant go back for another year, depending on what you did i had to show proof of aa meeting, a sponsor, 3-7 letters from family or friends showing i didnt drink, a alachol assement (100 dollars),a drug test, statement from probation officer saying that i was discharged, proof that i attented a impact weekent(300 dollars) and having to wait almost 6 months to get a hearing date its a long process and expensive, i wish i had a lawyer,but that doesnt matter anyways. but you should be able to register your car and tiltle it i did,get a friend and have them the primary driver on your insurance and you as the secondary driver and you should be set if you cant get your liscense back but need to drive it shows the state that you want the car in your name but someone else is driving it, wait a few days after you get your tabs for the car and drop the person from your insurance and they will just send you the insurance bill

Pay your fines, have the insurance company send a paper that proves you have insurance, and take it to the license branch.
