No, in my expert opinion, this combination is totally safe and will produce no seizures or hallucinations.

Possibly. Every drug has side effects and different people respond differently to the same drugs. If you look at the drug's insert, you will find a list of common (a.k.a typical) side effects, which is not the same as all possible side effects. For example, depakote is used to treat seizures. Most children respond to depakote while others do not. Why? We are not all carbon copies of one another. So, in my qualified answer, it is possible but not probable. I do have experience treating children with these drugs but not adults.

Nope. My son takes depakote and tegretol for seizures, strattera for adhd and an antidepressant for his obsessive compulsive disorders. None of the medications interact or interfere with each other. HOWEVER, I do have to tell you that strattera is known to possibly interfere with height/growth a bit if a teenager.

notify your doctor right away if your ability to control seizures has suddenly changed.
there are a number of known side effects from depakote + prozac and you need to talk with your doctor and get your blood levels of depakote checked.
good luck

It might be possible. Have you tried a medical answer line like "Ask a Nurse"? Some insurance companies have a similar phone line that will answer medical questions like that - United Health Care does.
