Can I use a Visa or American Express Gift Card for purchases on Amazon.com or on PayPal? Thanks bc I'm a little skittish about using my real credit card online.

Yes you can use gift cards for these services however some gift card have fees attached to them for certain transactions ie. purchases for gas each gift card should come with a discloser that outlines the details of the gift card. Read it before making your purchase.Most gift cards have a P.O.S charge (point of sale) charge about $.50 or so. Keep track of your balance.

I would not recommend Pay Pal for anything. I was an eBay member & signed up with Pay Pal & a spam email was sent to me asking to verify my information & I almost did. When I contacted custormer service about this they could have cared less. Amazon is great! I have shopped with them for years & yes you can use a gift card to shop there. Good luck & be safe.

Yes, you can use them anywhere the Visa or AMEX logo is accepted (as long as you have enough cash on the card for the purchase).
