your orthodontist knows this and just a little advice, take a couple ibuprofens before your visit! good luck and it feels great to get those things off!

I had braces for three and a half years. But thought for a while that I was ready, but of course my orthodontist didn't agree.
Your orthodontist knows whats best. I can't really say when its time, because its different for everyone.
Your not exactly threw though because ya still have your retainer to get and wear. I would strongly in courage wearing your retainer for as long as your orthodontist tells you to. It will keep your teeth straight for a long, long time trust me.
Congrats! About taking your braces off! I know how annoying they can be sometimes. Good luck!
