i ripped one dvd to my comp with the dvd decyrpter program and it took forever..like 3 freakin hours!!!

so is there a FREE dvd ripper that doesnt take that long, that i can use on a windows pc, out there??

I also use DVD Decrypter and it takes about 20-25 minutes.

When I 1st started it took about an hour... it all depends on computer and DVD speed on your computer.

Go to www.doom9.net, choose downloads and then go down the list to DVD rippers. I personally like: SmartRipper. It could be that your DVD player is set to only rip at a slow speed, like 2X.

You can always use trial versions to rip DVDS. They are usually good for 15-30 days before you have to either pay or leave. cnet has a listing of them.

Dvdshrink, just search for it on Google/Yahoo.
