Finally a decent out of the box agnostic thinker. I personally am atheist, because the creation of a creator is just as probable as us being created in the first place. But the creation of the two are that much more improbable.
However, on your theory, why do you propose that we are mistakes rather than a side effect...

Are you an artist? Are you parent--more important a mother?
Let's say he's not all-knowing. For each creature you made, I can gaurantee that God would know the name, the make, the model, the year, etc of each creature he made.
Why?
Although everything is so large, it's all unique. Everything is unique here. Every artist knows every single art work he/she has ever painted. Every mother knows the name of every child she's every birthed, alive or dead. It's illogical to think that God would just use a production line to create beings.

I would feel that it is up to ourselves to control out destinies, that prayers are useless, that people should stock up on weapons and intimidate, and life would have a lot of fear in it. I would feel that God was self righteous and not able to help me at all with anything. But because I don't believe that and I believe the Bible, my life is very different. What we believe determines how we behave.

Our son was "a mistake." Now we all agree he's the most wonderful thing that ever happened to us. People are really interested in their creations. Excuse me, but people are interested even in what they put in the toilet. To assume that a Creator doesn't care... is hard to imagine. (But it was fun trying!)

What if and what if and what if..............what if I told you the moon was made of cream cheese? Would you book a flight on the next space shuttle, and be sure to carry a box of soda crackers?

This is pointless mental gymnastics. Why not pretend that you have no heart... how would you feel? Imagine your children tasked like milk-duds. Hummmm. That's heavy dude.
Pointless.
