Yes. There is a verse in the book of Job "the Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord". I know that alot of people will laugh at me for saying this....but I had a cat that I loved and owned for 17 years. I had to put her to sleep and I was hysterical, I was truly heartbroken. I was sobbing with a broken heart, I missed her so much. The Lord brought this verse before me, and right in the middle of my sobbing I said it out loud, and I meant it. Blessed, blessed be the name of the Lord who gives and who takes away! I was healed in that moment of the pain and the sorrow. What was left was sweetness and the love that dear animal gave me for so many years.
When in our pain we call out His name and exalt Him...oh, what His power can do.

Yes, Jesus has healed me many times, answered financial prayers in just the nick of time and saved my family, protected my whole family when a category 5 tornado was heading right to our house, as we prayed for the tornado to turn, it did. A personal relationship with the Messiah is what you need to be fulfilled.

Yes, Yes and YES! I,m so thankful that I have God in my life. I now have a heart filled relationship with him that I did not always have. I first had to acquire the knowledge about him and then once I knew in my head what he was then I began to pray for a real heart felt relationship with him.

No doubt, you have misconstrued the purpose of religion, and what it can achieve for you. Your premise is false. Religion is simply an attempt to re-establish a link with GOD after the banishment of Adam from spiritual life with GOD in the Garden of Eden, in Paradise. GOD lives in Spiritual existence. Man lives in flesh and blood in the domain of Satan. Religion therefore is doomed. It is futile.
The purpose of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is to bring us back to life in the spiritual with GOD. That is how He is the only way to the Father. He says: "Believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem." John 4:21. Jerusalem was the place the LORD GOD chose for the Temple which King Solomon eventually built. That is no more a place of worship in the new dispensation. In fact, you should be a Temple where GOD lives by His Spirit. It means that you have been born of water as Jesus prescribed in John 3:3-6. If then GOD lives in Jesus Christ who lives in you, John 17:20-23, or you have attained to the full measure of the fulness of Christ, Ephesians 4:11-13, then you are in the suitable condition to worship GOD in spirit. Flesh and blood is not capable of this.
All of these may be strange to you. What you have been encouraged to do is to give your life to Christ. Unfortunately, this is not in the Bible, and it's not the teaching of Christ. It is meaningless. It achieves nothing because it is not the command of GOD. The teaching of Jesus Christ is that you must be born of water and the Spirit. John 3:3-6, and it is the command of GOD.

yes, I've seen miracles with my own eyes. I had a friend in intensive care who they called the family in on multiple occasions stating that she wasn't going to make it through the night. Her body was septic , her organs were failing, and she began going into kidney failure. We started praying for her and two weeks later she was being discharged from the hospital. I could go on and on with stories that have happened in my life that the only answer was a heavenly intervention. Good Question.

If you want a radical challenge to your life and faith, I recommend you read the Gospel of Mark, looking for the on-its-head attitude toward most of the ideas people have of Jesus and Christianity. Jesus constantly did things that were upside down to the ideas people had (have) about the way things should be.

Yes.
After my conversion to Islam two years ago, I no longer focus on the past tragedies of my life (especially the murder of my Roman Catholic Christian grandparents by their Roman Catholic Christian sons and daughters).
Yes, I could initiate a jihad should Allah allow me but He has already replaced my tragedies with pure joy by blessing me with my wife and my 1 year old daughter. Hence, there is no need for me to seek vengeance on the ones who committed atrocities on my grandparents. Being a Muslim convert made me closer to God and I feel that deep within me.
As for my grandparents' murderers...I know that Allah will deal with them soon.
Peace.
