perhaps she does like you, but its really just a big game, you should just tell her friend to stop emailing you and not play their twisted game!

Lay low and do nothing and let some time pass for the friend to move on. Then, after a reasonable period of time and if you are genuinely interested in the new girl, then of course you should ask her out. Not because you are being pressured though. It is a small world and you never know what may come back to haunt you so show some class and allow a bit of time to heal old wounds....then decide. And tell your friends to back off. If you handle it this way, you win on all accounts. Save the dumped girl's feelings and ego, gain respect with the potential crush girl and feel good about it when your head hits the pillow at night.

Tell her friend, the girl you just dumped,if it's OK if you date the other girl. If you really love this girl make a list of why you do and why you don't like her.Count up the things and let's say if you have more reasons why you like her date her.and don't ask your ex-girlfriend if she is mean if you now what i mean. Am a girl so I know.

if u just dumped her friend i don't know if that would be a good idea. that could be kind of awkward, however, if her friend doesn't care go for it...especially if the girl likes you. Take a chance!

That depends, do you like her. I was in a situation like that where i guy liked me, but we didn't have the relationship where i would ask him out, so i just kind of shrugged it off and i try not to bring it up because i don't want him to feel uncomfortable. I suggest that you stop asking her if she likes you, but if you like her go for it and ask her out. Don't ask her out just because she likes you or you feel bad for her or something.

Don`t ask her out if you don`t like her; you`ll hurt her really badly if you do! If you do like her, then their friendship isn`t your concern. Its her job to ask her friend if its okay. She`s your EX-girlfriend, not your girlfriend, so its not your job to worry about it. If you like her, go for it.

Why don't you just get to know her and if she likes you then sounds good to me. I don't think friends should get involved bc it ends up someones feelings get hurt....
