I have been friends with this guy for 5-6 years years now and its based on a "friendship with benefits" thing. I still get irritated when I hear of him dealing with other females, but we still hang out, talk hella long on tha phone, he's good friends with my brother, checks up on my son and acoarse get tha hook up? I like my friendship but at the same time I could have something even more? what is the best senerio?

Talk to him about your feelings of wanting to committ. See what he says. The worst thing you'll get is that he steps back. But if you are not comfortable any longer with the freinds with benefits, then simply communicate that. If you don't, you'll continue to be in this spot. He's a long time friend. The amount of years you've been friends is something that won't likely be broken without something catestrophic. You owe it to yourself and to him to be open honest. It's scary, I know. But what's worse? Sitting duck or getting it over with so that you can move on? I'd choose the latter. Good luck.

here's the problem with the FWB situation. at some point the benefits dwindle for one of the partners and emotional attachements form. you need to have a discussion with this guy and tell him how you are feeling. it will be hard but to continue as you are is to only cause more pain in the long run. maybe he is feeling the same, maybe not. but unless you talk you aren't going to know. FWB's don't usually end in a LTR but they can...depends on the 2 people....but they have to be on the same page and it requires constant open communication. so start communicating. if you continue to sleep with someone who isn't comminted to only you you;re heart is going to get broken.

Dump him.
He's getting cream without even having to milk the cow. (much less buy it). If he had any interest in a commited relationship, he'd have shown interest by now.
Since he has the balls to tell you of his escapades with other women, he's not interested in a relationship with you, and there is nothing you can do that will change that. And I mean NOTHING. Many people think getting pregnant will get a guy to commit but it never works.
