i sent my dad an email of robin williams doing stand-up. i wanted to check if the hyperlink worked. so i logged into my dads email account and checked it. upon doing this i noticed an email confirming his registration to a website. i clicked on its hyperlink to be nosey and now i wish i didn't. it made me feel sick. i.ve been crying for the past hour. i'm so angry and confused. what should i do?

there was naked young girls. i'm positive they were under 18, even 16.

I would not confront your dad, but to seek help, ask a close family member or friend who would have little to lose by asking... you would feel very bad if you'd made a mistake, and would not know the first step in questioning your father on whether he has peodophile tendancies or not!!!
If it's a mistake, your relationship with your father would be destroyed, as you have doubts, but if your instincts are correct, you will not be able to forgive yourself if you allowed things to go on and never did anything to stop it.....
Speak to someone confidentially, they will help you make the correct decision....Hope your father is the man you want him to be. X

Before you jump into conclusions, I think you should take a step back and think this through.
It's not a joke to expose someone as peodophile. you could be making the biggest mistake in your life, and endangering your fathers reputation and his life. I do hope he's not!!!

I feel for you right now, i really do-but feel also that this subject matter is way beyond and outside of the boundary's of a normal question/answer forum, no matter how well intentioned the answers are,and how we all feel about paedophilia. I feel that the only response i can give to your post is for you to be ultra-cautious in your dealings with this matter, and also to be ultra-ULTRA sure of your facts before any of the authorities are called in. It is just the paranoia that just started to set in. So what he watches porn don't we all. Like serious all men like young women. It is not a pedophile because of the fact they are not children. But young ****'s. It's best if you don't do anything. Plus porn is porn. It is young people that have sex. When you are at an age that is not attractive enough to get laid. You will be doing the same thing

1st you need to let your dad know that you know about it. Find out if it was just a misunderstanding or if he really does have a problem.
Then i think you need to arrange some counsilling for yourself. This is something that could affect you for the rest of your life and you need to make sure you are ok.

Wow, that must be a shocker for you. Your dad could get into serious trouble being a member of that site, he could be tracked down through his credit card details.
I think you should confront him about this and shame into stopping. It's sick behaviour. I hope to God he hasn't actually molested someone. Stop him before it's too late.

This is so important. But...we need to be exact on this...do you think that he is watching Kiddy Porn...or do you think he is actually, physically abusing a child...
Because even though one loves horrible movies and watching people die...doesn't mean they have killed a person...
You need to find out what is REALLY going on...and then talk to someone in the family about it...you HAVE too...it could save a child!!!

As deep as this statement is, you are leaving out way to much information. You are giving the supposition that the link you went to made you sick, where did it take you first of all and if you really want to be nosey, check to see if the ip addresses match your dads computer to the computer that is registered at his email account...Then if you find out that it does belong to him, then talk to someone you trust and come up with a plan that will not put you in harms way...Think this through thoroughly...Please....
