Assuming that there is some sort of church social planned for your congregation in the near future, you have two options open.
The first (and somewhat more devious) is to surreptitiously place the child on the buffet table, wrapped up like a basket of brown and serve rolls (note, it is important to do this after the food in the surrounding area has been cooked, and not in the kitchen cue). When the banquet is finished, and people are busily trying to snag leftovers and steal each others cookware, the brat will likely end up in the back seat of some good christians car... Problem solved.
The second, and somewhat more straightforward approach involves that most holy of church ceremonies...
I am referring of course to bingo.
By placing the child in the winnings vault at the next bingo get together you can not only assure that the kid will be won by a good christian individual, but that the lucky winner (having claimed the rug-rat publicly, in front of the other members of the congregation) will not be able to return said infant at a later date.

I do think adoption is the best alternative after reading your question. I am sure there are many, wonderful homes that would welcome the child and if it’s not too much trouble, if it’s not too much of an inconvenience, I’m sure you could call a few churches and ask for recommendations on good adoption agencies in your area.
If that’s too much of a bother, many states will let you simply bring a newborn to any hospital or fire station and dump "it" off no questions asked. That would be one possibility if there is a chance this child’s poorly-timed birth is going to inconvenience your vacation. What a terrible thing for a newborn to do!
You could probably arrange for some one to come and pick "it" up, so that you don’t even have to spend one moment with this unwanted that had the bad sense to get conceived.
Reading this I feel a little helpless to do more for the baby, but I will certainly keep this child in my prayers.

It?? We don't usually refer to people as "it". If you go through a state adoption agency, you will probably have little say about who adopts your child, though of course the agencies do carefully screen potential adoptive parents. The paperwork that adoptive parents have to fill out is really amazing, sometimes a couple of hundred pages of answers to questions on everything from their finances and eating habits to their sex life and entertainment preferences.
In some areas there are Christian adoption agencies which, in addition to the usual screening process, place heavy emphasis on the spiritual life of the adoptive parents. Whatever agency you use, they will pick up the baby at the hospital. You will not be bringing the child home with you.
I really hope you will give serious prayer to this matter. You say you are born again Christians, so I assume you will. On the other hand, I have never known any born again Christians who would speak of "dumping" a child of God.

I don't know how your wife got pregnant with someone else's baby but you should have a DNA test to see who's child it really is. You seem like you have already forgiven your wife is she was unfaithful so why not just raise the child even if it is not yours. If the both of you are capable of raising the child then you should. Jesus's stepfather raised him knowing that the child was not his, I'm sure you can be a good loving father to that child whether it is yours or not.

You don't sound to decent to me.A decent person wouldn't dump the baby. You can have an adoption without all the paperork.Have an open adoption. You and your wife pick a family and they take the baby home from the hospital. You can still have your vacation but you will have to go to court either way.

Hmm, i see where you are coming from
I personally beleive it is your responsibility to keep the child
Dumping the child should not be an option
Here is why i justify this.
You say you are a christian right?
What would Jesus Do?
Is it not true that your original father was Adam and you were a child o the Devil before Jesus Christ called you into knowing him?
God says in his word that we did not choose him, but he chose us
Therefore God chose you, and adopted you into his kingdom, just as it says in the bible
He knew you had a wicked and sinful father (Physically Adam, and spiritually Satan)
Yet God still accepted you as a child of his, regardless of your past, and saw you for who you could be, rather than who you were,,, a child, and an heir of the King!
None of us deserved this, its God's mercy and grace.
If you truly are a follower of Jesus, then you would do to others what he first did for you. Its your responsibility now friend.
Forgive, accept, and see the beautiful baby not from where he/she has come from, but where he/she is going and can be.
you have been grafted and adopted into the kingdom of Heaven, therfore go and do likewise.
"In sickness and in health, for better or for worse"
Listen to your conscience,
God bless (-:

adoption.
but really , pray!!!
I dont believe god would have wanted you to banish the child.
pray for forgivenes...if you are still with her then you need to be with the child she has. Why get rid of the child but then keep the wife!?
common now!!!
stand by your lady...she needs you and so will that kid!!

A true Christian would be responsible for their own actions and take care of the child, we all have our cross to bear, nothing is impossible with Christ, the child should be raised by you.

You're obviously not a born again Christian, but that was amusing. It probably offended some people, but amusing.
