If you don't want to have her spayed, then wait until you start seeing her belly expand. At that time get her back to her vet. He can do an xray or sonogram which will show the skeletons of the developing puppies inside of her. This will tell you how many there are and how big they are. The vet can determine from that whether the dog needs a c-section or not.
Swollen nipples alone are not always indicative of a pregnancy. Some female dogs have a lot of hormones and can get very swollen nipples during their heats.

The nipples will swell during and after a heat cycle even if she did not get bred. If you are sure that you seperated them at the start of her heat cycle, then there would be no way she was bred. She is very tiny and if she is pregnant by a 7 lb male, she would almost definitely need a c-section to have the babies. And there is a chance you could lose her and the babies. I would make an appointment and go ahead and have her spayed.

No, it is not commonly used in view that Chihuahuas are not that vast even totally grown, and your Chihuahua is probable not a Chihuahua yet is blended with yet another breed. My dogs became into around 5.5-6.0 pounds at 4 months. he's now over eleven pounds. So, i could say you're in for a pair of 20 pound 'Chihuahua'.

Best thing to do without using conventional thinking, look through your website and get a hold of several holistic vets. They will direct you properly without harming both mother and puppies. Also look for vets that use alternative medicine. It really works and it will save you time, money, and stress for you and the dogs.

I've heard of chihuahuas and yorkies having puppies at 2.5lbs via c-section. Ask your vet to be sure though.
