They shouldn't, always remember "To thine own self be true"

Why should people of faith feign ignorance just to get along with unbelievers?

I'm not a Christian, but I know many brilliant Christians. I'm not a Jew, but there have been many enlightened Jews. I'm not an Athiest, but have read many marvelous things from their pens.

It is arrogance to paint a whole group with a brush intended for a few. The fact that you may disagree with creation, or abortion issues or any other subject, doesn't mean that people who believe thise things are ignorant: they simply believe differently.

So, which is worse? Perceived ignorance or real arrogance?

Not all who say Lord Lord will get in to heaven, therefore not all who profess to be Christians truly are.

Don't feign ignorance, God doesn't ask us to check our brains at the door. He doesn't ask that of you.

Christians need to be following Jesus and this needs to be evident in their lives not just words.

Most Christians sad to say are pretty useless cos they don't know their God in a personal way. We need to be in constant fellowship with God.

Don't feign anything, challenge them to walk the talk.

Please, don't feign ignorance. I'm christian and I love a good debate and to listen to others views. Not all christians are stiff and closed minded. Were in the 21st century here.

Actually their are not more of them. Why are you feigning ignorance? Don't Christian teachings promote tolerance? You don't have to initiate conflict but you also don't have to diguise who you are.

Everyone, Christian and non Christian should learn to be themselves. I hate dealing with people that try to say what they think you want to hear and you never know if they're telling you what they really think or not. It's not a crime to disagree. People need to learn to disagree nicely and not beat each other up verbally or otherwise.

I agree. I've worked at a few places that were either owned or dominated by J-freaks. It became difficult to be accepted there or to be successful there 'cause I didn't belong to their little cult. So yeah, I basically hate them now.

I fish in a fish tank can't see from the perspective of someone outside it. Maybe if you take a leap of faith you will find the answer to your question, then you will wonder why those still in the tank think as they do.
