Some cats hate water, some love it, most are fascinated with water one way or another. All cats are oddballs. That is their nature. You cannot own a cat, but a cat can own you.

I have 4 cats. One of them doesn't like to be picked up or held at all,but whenever I'm doing a #2 she insists on sitting in my lap. I make her stay down & she gets mad.

Yes. My cat even takes it a step further with a gentle but definite nibble on my cheek during my "office visit."

My cat will come up to you if you're sitting on the couch and lick your hair.

She also will just lay down wherever she feels like. One time I found her laying halfway under my bed, sleeping.
