My sister is trying to teach my nephew how to drive a stick. He was unable to get the car into drive because everytime he did it kept cutting off on him. My sister became so angry with him that she went into her trunk and beat him with her personal collection of whips and chains. He was beaten to a bloody pulp and forced to walk home 2 miles away. To add insult to injury she made him sleep outside in the dog cage because "she couldn't stand the site of his stupid face". I am concerned about my nephew because my sister has a really bad temper and doesn't know how to deal with her son. Whenever she gets mad with him she is always putting him out of ther house or beating him with her whips and chains. Is there anything I should say or do about this or should I just mind my own business and chalk this up to tough love?? Help please

What your sister does is so far from tough love. That is child abuse plain and simple. I wish I could call social services myself. That poor boy. I ache for him. I hope that you have not known this for awhile and just ignored it because that's so unfair to him. I think you need to talk to your sister. If you have other family members and friends that know about this, gather them together with you and let her know if she's having some issues ands need someone to look after him for awhile while she works on her problems and one of you need to offer up your homes. If she refuses to seek help or let him stay with someone else then you need to report her to the authorities. I'm positive they would consider that child abuse. Help your nephew, because he's not in a position to help himself. don't let him feel abandoned. Good luck, and may God bless your family.

This feels like a farce. It turns out like a comic story. It turns out so ridiculous that I discover it rough to learn as my eyes had been rolling such a lot. This isn't tough love. This is just abuse and should be reported to the police straight away. What right does she have to just beat another person? Your nephew is probably too scared to do anything about it himself so you, as a responsible adult, will have to report her to the police. Don't waste any time. The next time she beats him she might just kill him and what will you think of yourself then when you were in a position to stop her but didn't.

Whips aren't tough love! Making your son sleep outside in the dog kennel isn't tough love! Any kind of abuse at all is NOT tough love.
Listen lady my brother was abused for 16 years and if this is real you need to call the police. This woman SHOULD NOT have custodety of her child!

I think that instead of asking for permission by strangers, it falls upon you to save your nephew from harm. That abuse is not acceptable no matter what. Your sister should be able to control herself and if she can't then I'm sure the correctional officers can do it for her. Your nephew's life could be in danger.

I was verbally abused as a child. If I attempted to get my parent to stop they beat me with stick and with hangers. I will never forget my beloved aunt that had the courage to have them stop it.
This case is much move severe. You have a responsibility to protect this child by calling Child Protective Services. He has already been assaulted, and tortured. God only knows what kind of adult this young man will become. for his sake, for your sister's sake call somebody for help before she kills him or he explodes and hurts her.

IF you don't know this is child abuse then you don't know what child abuse is , for havens sakes ,,PLEASE REPORT YOUR SISTER or take him to your house , do something to help your nephew or you will be just as guilty as her. This must be a joke .WHY the hell wouldn't you get him taken out of that house if you know he is being abused. That poor kid is being abused .I hope he gets real pissed and goes nuts and beats the hell outta her and whoever didn't help him .
