I'm entertaining dinner for friends this Friday. Somebody likes to drink very dry white wine. Don't know anything about very dry white wine. What does it taste like? How is different from Chardonnay?

Chardonnay is dry white wine. I would pick a Chardonnay for sure. But if you wanted to try something a little different showing you know stuff about wine I would pick a Savigan Blanc wow very delious.

Chardonnay is not much different. Try a super Italian white wine called Frascati, everyone loves it.

Dry white wines are the ones in which all grape suger has been fermented. Try Chablis which is an excellent dry white wine

Hmmmm, perhaps they want to make sure you don't serve them a sweet white wine. Go to a wine store, try a Savignon Blanc, you could also try a Soave (Italian). It's hard to describe a taste.
