She goes overboard on the presents every year, and some of us feel bad because we can't spend as much as she does on gifts. We have tried to tell her to please tone it down a little but every year she surpasses the year before in gift giving, then gets upset when she doesn't get all the things she wished for.---or gets something that doesn't fit quite right and she has to take back. Is this a control issue? She calls us all and asks us what we are buying each other as well, and throws in her suggestions as to what she thinks would be the best gift. I love my mother but sheesh.

if she really has a problem with what she gets, tell her that the presents are not what Christmas is about. and if she continues with her behavior, that you will not be spending Christmas with her anymore.

Maybe she like the gift of giving. It shouldn't make you feel bad. I'm sure she is not doing it on purpose. If it makes you feel that bad tell her...........
Maybe th person she is suggesting you to buy for told her what they wanted. You never know! Glad to hear you love your mom!

because she is just a very very bored person, that has nothing else better to do than worry about whatever everyone else is doing.

when was the last time she has had sex? cant her hubby get it up anymore? she really needs to start smoking pot and get laid dude.

Christmas is not about outdoing each other, it is all about " doing each other ".
