It's the contracting of the pelvic muscles in both males and females, caused by stimulation of the (usually) genitals. Some people can get orgasms from other forms of stimulation, ie. nipples, and some even claim to be able to think up an orgasm. I tried doing that once, but it made my head hurt. . .lol.
There is a point behind it: in males, the contractions force semen and sperm out of the body into the vagina during intercourse. For women, it creates a 'sucking' effect which sucks the semen deeper into the uterus to aid in achieving pregnancy, not that pregnancy can't happen anyway. But, orgasm in females is linked to higher rates of pregnancy.
And if you're so young that you don't know what it is, it's probably best that I warn you away from sex. If you're not ready to have babies, you're not ready for the big act!

The best sexual feeling anyone can experience and when it happens you will know it. I find it to be an intense sensation of muscle spasms that feel like they are releasing a lot of pent up sexual frustration into the most pleasurable feeling I have ever felt. There is nothing like it. Once you have one your hooked.

You are young I can tell you are asking what is an orgasm is is
a hightened release of hormones and sensations during the peak of sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual foreplay something you are way to young to even to be concerned with.
