Because living forever would get boring! And there would be too many people on earth! Not enough space!

We don't die we multiply! No for real it's because the spirit realm is even more real than this physical one and death of the body is the only way to get there. Your spirit and soul is the real you and this life on earth is just a big school to learn how to love and seek God and other people. Life on earth in our bodies is like a short dream compared to our real lives in the spirit realm. Many people who have had near death experiences all say death can be painful but it is nothing to fear and afterwards there is so much peace and tranquility in the spirit world.

We have to die so that others can enjoy life as we did. If we all lived forever the earth would be crowded and frankly it would suck. But we die and others get to live where we lived.

To make life important.

That's off of Six Feet Under.

We die because our bodies are like machines that eventually, or instantly break down. Just like a machine with a broken part, our bodies cannot function properly or sustain themselves forever. They just get worn out.

PS. It has nothing to do with Adam & Eve. sigh.

It's a hard blessing of God that man is mortal.
With our mortality also comes an end to our sin nature.
This way, sin will not have permanent reign on the Earth.
It may be hard to swallow, but it is God's provision for His children, so that they have a time limit for accepting His Son as Savior and living eternally with Him in heaven.

Because our bodies wear out. That is not the way it was first intended. In the garden of Eden, God warned Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree, or they would die. They did eat it, and that was it on all of us.

But there is eternal life....if you know Jesus as your savior.

You don't have to die, but you cannot control your physical and medical aging or practice, hence, you die of natural causes, or decease, or accidental.

To make room for future generations. Taking turns, as it were, in enjoying this life. If we could only realise this we would cherish the earth and our stay in it immensely.
