I keep trying to break up with my boyfriend. He is such a jerk, has no respect, and I keep seeing him. Dumb I know however he just won't leave me alone and he is depressed alot and I feel obligated. I look at him and he makes me sick. Any suggestions about breaking it off with someone so dependent on you?

maybe you could be honest with him. tell him what you just typed down. im sure he wont feel even more depressed, because jerks usually get their confidence and happiness back quite fast.

Been there and done that and it is hard. You just have to make it clear that you don't want any kind of relationship with him even as a friend. If you try to keep the friendship then he will use that as a way to keep hope that maybe someday you will change your mind and fall madly in love with him. You have to just cut all ties with him and know that after a while he will more than likely be just fine no matter how depressed he says he is now and by the way that it just another way for him to hang on to you.

I left a bad situation about 5 months ago it is hard and can be difficult. just tell him it is over and try not to contact him or see him in time he should leave you alone or if you are worried he will stalk you go to the police

tell him its over and you dont want to see him again, tell him to move on because you already have, tell him your mind is made up, and keep it under 2 minutes, then LEAVE
