In Hollywood C.A The sign is located on the southern side of Mount Lee in Griffith Park, north of the Mulholland Highway. A good viewpoint within 100 yards (90 m) of the sign can be reached by driving north up Gower Street from Hollywood Boulevard and then north along Beachwood Drive.

it is in Hollywood Hills atop Mount Lee. you really can't get very close to it though, there are no roads out to it, and if you did get there, its fenced off along with a high-tech alarm system that prevents people from getting too close. a good place to see it is to drive up Beachwood Dr, which is North of Hollywood Blvd though.

Ive been there before and I believe the name of the street is called Beach Blvd or BeachWood. This is the only street that takes you to the sign. There is a horse ranch at the end of the street.
