Happy Birthday to Jamoka!
My Vader's birthday is today! He is 9 years old. We celebrated with steak for dinner and a new baby (stuffed toy)
His picture is here http://www.bestpawforward.info/index_files/Page661.htm
I think we he turned 1 and 2 - I reflected back on his silly antics and how much he had grown and how much he had learned.

My dog's birthday is on May 29, 2004. When she turned 1 yr. old, I was so proud of her, and was so excited to know she had been with me for so long. However, when she turned 2 yrs. old, I still had the feeling of pride, but I also had a great sadness that she was growing out of puppyhood and just plain growing. Although she still only weighs about 5 pounds.

my Gingerbear, who is a Chihuahua, will be 7 years old on November 19. I can't believe it. I still remember the night we got her.
I always get her something special for her birthday AND wrap it up for her.
She is very special to me. I love all 7 of my dogs.
BTW, Happy Birthday to your baby!! Have fun.

my Pekingese, Zip, will be 2 on April 28, 2007! Hes my baby, he may only be 13 pounds but he thinks hes 113 pounds. I am happy when my baby has a birthday.
We use to have a boxer, he died just before his 8th birthday... we were happy with every birthday till he was about his 6th, then we felt like we were on borrowed time due to his health issues. (cancer and heart problems)
and yes, we even give our pets Birthday treats. lol
