That is always a possibility. It has been since 1945 when our government created the atomic bomb. I say this because less than 6 months later, the Soviet union created atomic weapons of their own. There was most likely a threat before that. Basically, there was always a threat of an attack or a bombing. All we can do as citizens is pray to God that something like 9/11/01 will never happen again.

I anticipate no major attack in 2007. But it is not realistic to think that the United States will not suffer a major attack in the next twenty or thirty years. The terrorists have, and are taking, all the time in the world.

I am surprised it has not got hit sooner. With the people screaming about their rights being infringed on and the relaxed state of the government with the liberals getting back in power, yes it will get a blast soon I think. I hope I'm wrong,

We don't know. Even Osama and his buddies don't actually know. They are only planning. They don't know because new security measures can always come up and disturb their plans. We are improving our security every year, however. We are recruiting more soldiers and making our airliners safer. We have disturbed plots earlier this year. After, we improved airline security. Always can happen, although I don't worry about it.

I don't look for any problems like that in 07 as we have been safe since the Sept 11th ordeal.

I think they will try. But it is unlikely that they will successfully pull off any major attacks.

Experts belive that, statistically, we will be attacked again as we cannot permanently prevent people from attacking us. Indeed, it is amazing that we haven't been attacked yet.
