My 45 year old dad left my mom for a 21 year old girl. I'm 16 and I wanna know how I can deal with having a step-mom who is only 5 years older than me. Any tips?

Go live with your mom, because it will be awful with your dad marrying or robbing the cradle. I feel for you, make her life a living nightmare . .I am 21 and that is just sick.

As nerve wracking as it may be, try to ignore both of them if possible. I wouldn't talk to them any more than I had to (don't go out of your way to be pals). I suspect this marriage will not last over a year and the 21 year old will be wanting to go out and he will be wanting to stay home. This was probably your Dad's mid-life crisis - fear- of-death thing. Too bad he had to dump your Mom in the process. I hope your mother gets everything.

Please tell somebody with regard to the rape. perhaps you may not tell your dad first, yet perhaps a instructor or a counselor in college? that's what they're there for... and in case you do not tell every physique, then it is merely going to get swept under the rug and trampled over like it on no account passed off. of direction, you will continually be attentive to it passed off. So first concern: walk into an workplace and have a take a seat down with a in charge grownup. tell a counselor, or a instructor you may have faith. in case you're at it, tell them approximately why your grades are suffering. tell them which you're feeling distant and deserted by making use of the only relatives you be attentive to and you will't concentration on something. heavily, if I had the possibility to bypass lower back in time and talk overtly to somebody prepared to help, then i could. 2nd, perhaps there's a help team you may bypass to. the acceptable concern you're able to do suitable now's to speak approximately it. in view which you may not have faith your loved ones -and maximum severely your father- to help you, perhaps you will locate some friends or people who've long gone in the time of the comparable concern. i became into raped as a newborn and held the secret in for 6 years till it became into found out. i became into blessed with a loving mom and a couple of siblings, despite the fact that. in the adventure that your father makes a ingredient which you on no account instructed him what passed off, uncomplicated tell him that he on no account listened. tell him how lots you're hurting and how lots you pick his love and have faith, yet he ought to be prepared to furnish you the attention. hi,
First of all do you like her at all? Is she friendly and nice to you? If she is, just treat her like a friend, but i don't think I would let her boss you arounf or anything, since she's not that much older than you. If she is rude, mean, etc. to you, don't put up with it.
You need to talk to your dad, tell him how you really feel, and talk to your mom, she probably really needs you, think about how she feels!
