My relationship lasted with my boyfriend from almost a year long distance before he moved to be near me. But he told me yesterday he may have to move back to Ohio and I'm in NJ. I still have another school of year left, I finish in fall of next year. I just don't know if we can surive that long again when we would be so far apart.

Before I saw him for about 3 or 4 days every month. So we would definitely visit eachother every month.

Distance can suck royally, but if you two made it work before you can make it work again... I understand that after being together you don't want to part, but if he has to move back then he has to and I don't think you should let distance get in the way of your heart. It's only another year then you're done and free to move over to Ohio with him.

Well, I tried and it did not work. She lived in Florida. We did have a lot of fun, but when we did see each other, there was so much pressure to do things and as much as we could because of the distance. Maybe take a break and see what happens in a few years. You may or may not have feelings for one another.

It can be tough to keep a long distance relationship alive. If you can manage it, frequent trips are a good idea. It's good to talk on the phone, but it's not the same as being together. If you both want it to work, you can make it work.

I have a friend from AR who met a guy when she was in Alaska..they dated and have now been married about 10 years. I was in love with a guy from another state and we drifted apart but still stayed good friends UNTIL he died. True love will survive almost anything. If it's meant to be and he's your soul mate...things will work out.

I think that most long distance relationships don't work out. I'm not saying it's impossible, you may be able to make it work. You'll just have to follow your heart on this one.
