I happen to know what your talking about. The "God" portrayed in the Bible seems to be too anxious (and if you ask me, insane) to inflict punishment on those who don't follow his ways. All for sake of "love".

I guess my experiences are different than yours. I don't remember God ever threatening or torturing me, so I guess I don't have the answer. Who's your god, anyway?

Lol, such as this battle over their "holy land"(between isreal and pakistan). Yeah, people love to kill in the name of religion. Gives em' a bit of a rush, I think
