Sad little people who think just because they are convinced that they can't do, it no one can.

They don't realise how they limit themselves with the thoughts that they think pangel.

An entire universe trying to help them and they sit with their fingers in their ears screaming there is nothing to hear.

Love and blessings Don

Yes it is a hoax, but not by the mediums. They are usually totally drawn in by the con. The hoax is perpetrated by the spiritual entities that make contact with them. The abilities and the long life of these emtities make them able to provide the sitter with information that could be thought of as that which could only come from a deceased relative or friend.

hi,

i cannot say for other people if mediumship is a hoax. but for me i can reassure you it's not, i have seen things and unexplained things have happened to me.

i don't doubt that many of the " mediums" that are making money from it, are fake. because i am sure it is written somewhere that one shouldn't make financial gain from such a gift, also these type of mediums always ask leading/open ended questions that could be relevant to pretty much most of the population lol.

interesting question

hope this isn't too confusing cos i seem to go round in circles lol

I don't believe mediumship is a hoax at all, there are some excellent mediums in this world who give people comfort from the spirit world, I think if people can't see it they don't believe it, if they took the blinkers off for a minuet or too I am sure they would understand mediumship and the spirit world a lot more.

Having been to a couple of medium i want to believe it is true, they seem to know more than can be explained, things only i knew.
It can be spooky the things they know, how could they possible know some very intimate details not given away in a small remark!

There's no such thing as a medium, and no such thing as speaking with the dead.

It depends what you call a hoax. Certainly the largest proportion of so-called Mediums are charlatans, who do the tricks for financial gain.

Some may perform for nothing, just doing their tricks for a laugh.
And some may be mentally ill or deluded, and really believe they are communicating with dead people.

Often, yes but in many cases, no. This is a legitimate gift often exploited.
