I am old fashion and I have always preferred for the guy to make the first move when asking me out. Is it just me or do guys not do that much anymore? I know that it is 2006 and it goes either way and anyone can make a first move,but I am trying to get a guys approach on it. What do you think??

I personally agree with you about being old fashioned and having the guy ask me out. I love it that way!!! I however don't see a problem the other way around if that is what floats another's boat. I think some guys don't care if a girl makes the first move. It probably boosts their ego!!! Some other guys might like to stick to asking the girl themselves and tend to be old fashioned as well. It all bolis down to the guy in particular. Good question by the way!

While I always have felt that guys should make the first move, it can be intimidating. While I'm in no way "turned off" by a girl who makes the first move, it is always nice if they give you a little sign when/if they notice you wanting to ask.
Besides that, and I know this is a "sucky answer", but it also depends on the guy and the girl. Some guys are just too shy to ever make that kind of a move and some girls don't have the patience or the guile to make themselves available for him (to mean: where he feels he has a chance with her and wants to take a chance with her).

There is nothing wrong with the girl making the first move. Id really like it if a girl did that. Huge turn on!

i do no longer like it while it form of appears like a guy has each little thing all planed out. it alright to hahve wish for the place the evening could flow yet planing issues out to get you there is the quickest thank you to get a slap around the face( a minimum of for me) this is alright to be apprehensive, i discover it to be an endearing high quality and makes me like a guy much greater. i think only dont have an time table kinda flow with the bypass.

Chrissy, yes. Guys these days aren't into asking girls out anymore, girls are now doing it. I don't know why. But it seems they just are too nervous to do it or too lazy(not saying all are but..yea). I hate it. Guys are supposed to be asking out. Have been and always should be. We, girls, can do it sometimes, but I know that GUYS are gonna say, "Well we gotta do the work?, and **** like that. But it's true, they do, they just don't realize or understand that.

i prefer it if a grl makes the first move. grls should know by now that ANY guy will go for ANY girl, but girls are very picky, so if they make the first move, they cut the hard part out.
