I 'm 18 years old and previously went to a concert and met the drummer. He's 36 and seemed really interested in me. During the night he put his head against mine and said "I like you." and before I left he pulled me back and told me "I want to see you again." We did end up making out, but I thought that he wouldn't be interested in me until he gave me his number. I think he's a great guy, but we're 18 years apart, he's in a band, and he lives in Cleveland. I'm all the way in NY. Is it possible he really likes me? Or do you think he is playing a game to get me in bed? I don't know, he said he never goes after girls at concerts.....hard to believe when you're in a band.....

I think a part of what he was saying was a game since he is 36. But, he seemed so sincere? Maybe he's just old enough to know how to play girls?

Well sweetie, there's no way we can tell you what he's thinking or feeling for certain, only he would know that. If you like him, I'd say proceed but with caution. Enjoy yourself. You're 18, young enough to have fun but old enough to know there are consequences. Just dont put too much into it. Let the chips fall where they may. Don't think seriously about it until you have no choice. If he's in Cleveland and you're in NY, I doubt anything much is going to come of it anyway. The age difference is quite a bit but not something that can't be bridged if it were to get serious. :) Have fun.

Age is irrelevant, it is just a number. Maturity is what counts. Do you really like him. What would his intentions be by you? Why would he like an 18 year old? This really is'nt meant as a put down honey, just a safety precaution.
Now my lectures over, i have been in your position. I was seeing a guy of 38 last year, i broke it off because it really did'nt feel right. I have since found out he has a 6 month old baby, where was he when his daughter was born? Out with me. I was so angry with myself for not realising he had a partner and baby.

He just wants to sleep with you. There is no way a 36 year old man would ever be interested in an 18 year old girl. Think about this, you met him for the very first time and he was making out with you? Dont you see something wrong with this. He's just going to use you.

NO dont get involved with him guys in bands are not cool, cause once you get involved with him he considers you a groupie meaning when he is done with you he is literally done with you they just go from girl to girl he needs to get laid and looked at you and yea the age difference is kinda HUGE i think you should find somebody at least maybe 5-10 should be the limit for your age group i hope this helps.

he's only met you once.
whether or not you should be interested in a 36 year old depends less on his age and yours, and more on the particular 36 year old that you're interested in. he doesn't sound like the type of person i'd recommend going after, though, maybe for the simple fact that he was going after you having just met you...sorry.

Oh, honey. Wow. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad idea. He is feeding you a line. Be thankful that you didn't **** him, flush his number, and find something worthwhile to do with your time. Men come and go. Figure out who you are and what you want and it will make the whole process easier. By the way, any 26 year-old who goes after an 18 year-old is just trying to prove that he's still "got it." And if you've gotta prove it, you don't got it. PLEASE DON'T SLEEP WITH HIM.

ok age is only a number as long as you are 18 but i would say that he only wants ta try ta get you n bed then he ll dump you and you will b hurt if anything see him when you can but see if he is really intrested b 4 you sleep with him
