Why waste my life in fear of an unknown and unproven afterlife? As far as I am concerned, this is the only life I have, and then that's it. I had better make the most of it while I'm here. That's why I have my own purpose and my own goals.

And when I die, that's it. My legacy will be left behind within the people I have touched and the deeds I have done.

You know what? I embrace that. I do not fear death, because there is no use in fearing inevitability. We're all going to die, whether we like it or not. Despite our best efforts, no one has come close to finding a method for immortality.

Here's a scary idea. You go to Heaven expecting this perfect beautiful place and turns out being just like Earth except worse: eternal hate, disease, war, etc.

When I was young, I was obsessed with what it would feel like to die. Not so much what was on the other end, but about the feeling of just stopping to live.

The Bible scriptures themselves do not help the coaching of a burning place of fire that church homes show as 'hellfire'. this could nicely be a coaching that has crept into the classes of christianity in the time of the indoctrinations of pagan teachings as a manner to usher in extra contributors by using the centuries. The Bible's coaching of 'hell' is it is simpy the problem-unfastened grave of all mankind. that's genuinely , the grave. that's the place every physique is going whilst they die. it is not a place of torment or fire, yet a place of sleep till the time God resurrects all mankind for judgement. The Bible additionally states that as quickly as Mankind dies, he's unsleeping of not something. there is not any torment, there is not any afterlife, there is not any floating around in a ghostly state of unrest. No , that's a place of sleep, organic and straightforward. And what may be the ingredient of god setting up a 'judgement day' if , whilst every physique died, he already had desperate who became into going to heaven and who became into going to hell ? it may be slightly logically redundant, do not you think of?

No. I think people are more scared of the method of their death or losing someone who dies rather than what really happens to them after they're dead. I mean, seriously - think about it. Are you more afraid of how you will die or losing loved ones? Or whether or not there's light at the end of the "death" tunnel? Only living people have these worries. Of course I could be wrong because I haven't died and lived to tell about it. So honestly I make no assumptions or pretense that I know what happens when we die.

Dear Stephane, I would like to tell you How you can know where your going to spend an eternity. I would like to ask you a few question.........

Do you Consider yourself to be a good person?

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and the Bible says "he who hates his brother is a murderer." have you ever hated somene? if you have said yes to these questions, by your own admission your a lying thief and an adulterer and murderer at heart, and you will have to face God on Judgement day. God sees every thoguth word and deed, nothing is Hid from his Holy eyes. if God Judged you by this standard on Judgement day, would you be innocent or guilty? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, and If you will repent (turnf rom sin) and place your faith and trust in Jesus, God will then forgive you and grant you the gift of everlasting life.
God Bless

I believe if you live as god says then you will go to heaven. I am not afraid that I will not to heaven. Depending on how you live your life here on earth depends on where you go when its over

If there is God, He will forgive most of us, and we should all be in heaven...If there is no God, I guess I will never know it, since I will be dead...
