Why is it that men are always looking for a "good woman" and when they have one they don't appreciate her or treat her nice????

behind every 'good man' is a 'good woman', you dont choose a good man in first place then saying doesnt really work
depends on your definition of 'good' as well, some ppl also looking for 'bad'...

Well, I found me a very, very good woman and I love her with all my heart and soul. I prayed that somehow we would date and get something going and we did. I treat her as if God himself gave me a pricious gift and such a gift should be respected and admired for the rest of my life. Iknow what you mean about men not treating their mates with due respect. We live in a difficult world and there are many temptations out there. Some times it is the woman that does not meet her obligations as a wife or mate. I know that there are many men that treat their mates with no respect and that tells me that they are weak and don't really know what they have, untill they lose a ggod thing. I wish I could give you a better answer, but we as humans are not only fighting against ourselves and governments and earthly things, but we are also fighting unseen spirit forces that work night and day for our distruction. We need to adhere to bible principles and become better human beings......KECK

Men are looking for the good woman but they often pick the CHEAP and SHALLOW one for comforting their urgent flesh needs. Later, when they realize that the deal was a bad one, they start treating her badly so that she goes away at last and they can go for the real "good woman" of their dreams...
Often, they are totally unaware of this recurring cycle.
To protect oneself from such a situation, a clever woman will always try to sell hard - no matter what other stupid ones ever say to you! - so that the guy can later remember, at any time, how much effort and time he invested into getting your attention... and so that he stays aware of how precious you are.

Who is going to look for a "krappy woman" (or man) or a "mean woman" (or man)?
If a guy doesn't treat a woman right she can leave...or perhaps she just needs to bring to his attention whatever is bothering her about his behavior...what you may percieve as not appreciating her, he may not see at all...
Perception counts for a lot...communication is of untilmate importance...if after communcating, nothing changes in a positive way, then she is free to leave...
Why do women stay with guys who don't appreciate them and don't treat them nice, but then complain about it?

Personally I would like to ask a "real" man what a good woman is. What is the real definition of a good woman. Seriously it's obvious that women's definition of a good woman is different to us. You evidently feel you are a good woman but are not being treated that way. So you question your worth? So what's the answer than. Deaf, dumb, and nymphomaniac seems like the answer they go for the most.........

Never had a 'good woman' before. My friends neither. Most of them have cheated on myself and my friends(their wives), and the married ones/in a relationship ones hit on me a lot too(no single ones though). Maybe the Easter Bunny can answer this one the best.

i've treated the bad women in my life better then i should have , thats why i'm looking for a good woman , one that wants me , not drugs or alcohal or how much they can get out of me one that wants to build a life togather

Because men are stupuid . .not all but many act like they don't have a brain in their head half of the time. They want someone who cleans up after them like mom used to, and they take you for granted. When the woman is gone then they can't take care of themselves.

men don't really want a good woman in that frame of context he wants one to be like a good friend one he can talk too and not become to judgmental....what i'm referring to is that most men want a woman like his mother believe it or not....

They don't really know what constitutes a good woman. Your definition and their definition may vary. For example, some guys thing a good woman is one who is their domestic slave.
