Some people say that gays can get into heaven others say gays won't. Some say Jews can get into heaven others say you have to believe Jesus is your savior and that would exclude a Jewish person.

Why the differences in belief?

believing that Jesus is your savior does not exclude Jews.

It's confused me and I'm Jewish! Some Christians believe that anyone who has not been baptized and doesn't believe in Jesus Christ as their lord and Savior are doomed to hell. There are some Christians who do include Jews as going to Heaven as Judaism was Jesus' own birth faith and is an Abrahamic religion. However many more believe that once Jews will enter heaven they will see Jesus and accept him. Gay's on the other hand, are often excluded as homosexuality is widely condemned is Conservative Christianity. As for me, well, whose to say who goes to heaven and who cares?

Just read the Bible carefully and not base it on hearsay.

The Bible says very simply in John 3:16:

"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."

The differences in beliefs results in differences in the way various ppl interpret the Bible. As far as I know , there's no other reliable guide that Christians have except the Bible. All Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

I couldn't care what this Prof or that Prof says or if you have a PhD or other string of titles behind your name. If you're not even a believer in God or the Bible, what you say is your personal opinion, no matter how convincing your arguments.
I'm very dogmatic about my beliefs.

So my interpretation is this ( interpretation in brackets):

" For God ( only one true God who created heaven and earth)
so loved the world ( it includes you and me, male and female, any skin color, race, language, country you come from )
that He (God) gave His only begotten Son ( Jesus Christ came to die on the cross for the 'world') , that whoever ( anybody who puts his faith in Jesus as Savior ) believes ( this one is most difficult because it means more than just a mental acknowledgement but the 'believer' must practise what the Bible teaches and remain faithful to the end) in Him ( Jesus as Saviour)
will not perish ( not just die physically but also spiritually i.e. eternal death ) but have eternal life ( go to heaven and live forever and ever with God when he/she dies physically)

Sorry for the long-winded preaching . I assume you're asking a serious question and want to hear a serious answer. Idon't want to be casual or frivolous when I sense the asker is serious .

So as to your qn of whether gays and joys (lesbians) or Jews can go to heaven, you can't say yes or no.
The gay or joy may repent and change their lifestyle , then they get to go to heaven too. If any Jews were to start believing Jesus as their Saviour and not just a prophet, they'll get to go the heaven too.

No one has a right to judge another individual, God is the only one that has that right. People will be judged by there works and if they believe in God and believe that Jesus Christ came into this world to save mankind, and if an individual truly asks forgiveness, then any individual can go to heaven.

I'm going to give you another real answer. Humans can mess up anything. Ultimately, it is God who decides who gets to go to Heaven. Christians believe that the Bible is the infallible and inerrant word of God, inspired and delivered by God through those whom he chose. The problem comes in where humans that were not chosen by God try to put their stamp on or interpret what God means. As a Christian, our job is simply to tell others about how the love of Christ can change your life, and to live a life like Christ's. The judging is to be left to God.

Because they use whatever they want as a basis. Just like if I wanted to believe 2+2 is 5, I would just find or make a book that says so and then abide by it.

No one will completely believe everything the same in their religions. Everyone interprets things differently and in doing so the form their own beliefs.

The difference in belief comes from not knowing the bible. The bible clearly teaches there is one way to God; by faith in Christ. The bible also very clearly teaches that neither slanderers, nor murderers, nor the sexually immoral (and homosexuality is in that category), nor liars, nor idolaters, will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Part of the selling point. Just like cars with different features for people's varied desires.

Because most people that are religious don't follow the Truth of the Bible. They pick and choose what they like and dislike. But the Bible speaks clearly on these issues.
