Japanese and Spanish are both quite helpful in the business world these days I would say Japanese more than the others. I would help in your future if you take it, that is if you intend to work in the business world. Latin is fine however being a dead language is mostly only helpful if you were looking into a career in Archaeology or linguistics.

Hope I helped. Of course it's jut one persons opinion.

Well it all depends on what you want really. For me, I would chose Italian because I would LOVE to be fluent in that language, or any language. I love languages, so I would choose that. For you, maybe you want to have some good classes on your transcrip so you choose Japanese for the point of taking an AP Class. If you want to graduate with a Latin Diploma, take Latin. It all depends on what you want. I would suggest going for the Italian since you already have taken it for so long and that would be amazing to be fluent! Hope this helps a bit!! :)

Wow that really depends on what part of the country you live in and what sort of career you're interested in later on. It sounds like you have a pretty good grasp on Italian. Latin and Spanish should be very easy classes for you with that background...there are a lot of similarities. Spanish can be very useful in a lot of careers. Latin would be useful if you plan to enter into a career in medicine/science, but not terribly practical otherwise. French uses a lot of latin based words like the Spanish and Italian, but its not spoken enough places in the world to be very useful. I like the idea of learning a language like Japanese. You need to learn a whole different alphabet to do that. It sounds very challenging and could be very useful in a number of business type careers.

Stick to Italian. Achieving fluency in another langauge is an thing.

If you don't want to, Latin would be your next best bet. Latin and Italian are very closely related so picking it up won't be hard. It'll also be beneficial in your command of English vocabulary. And come on, you have to admit a Latin Diploma is pretty kick @$$.

I always suggest taking a functional language, something that you can use with frequency outside of school. That being the case, choose Spanish here in the U.S. Plus, over 300 million people speak the language worldwide. You can't go wrong

Stick with Italian , and if you finish, begin Spanish. The languages are very close, you'll pick it up in no time.

I would highly suggest Spanish. That's what I took, and it's definitely helped me in the long run, especially here in America.

Whatever you choose, good luck and God Bless ya.

French is the next best language because it is widely used in foreign diplomacy.
