ask your self this question: WHY do you prefer to get married on the age of 17? you would be lacking the suitable years of your existence. that is once you're able to be doing issues with acquaintances and going out each evening. Then once you're 21 you would be wanting to be going out to the golf equipment, and those years are incredibly relaxing years. you would be lacking all of this. And for what? something which you're able to have in some years, in spite of everything the relaxing years. while you're below the age of 18 you like your mothers and fathers consent to get married. Now that is for a good reason, through fact you're mothers and fathers understand greater effective. in case you are attempting this in the back of your mothers and fathers back, they might get your marriage annulled. So that is a no win difficulty all the way around. So why not wait? in case you adore him now, you will nevertheless love him then....if that is right love. So delight on your existence as a young person. you have gotten some years which you will delight in being married later.

There is no amount of legal consent a parent can give their child to marry an adult here in the United States. I am not sure about other countries, but here in the US, marrying, or attempting to woo a child under age is considered statutory rape.
Any real parent would pick up the phone and call the law if the question is even brought up.

No, I really honestly feel that a guy that much older than you is using you and you could really get hurt! This guy is really up to no good! You are so young. Aren't there some boys your age that you can hang out with or maybe even just take time to yourself to find out who you are? You need to take some time to enjoy your youth, be a teenager!! You have so many things to look forward to in your life! There will be plenty of time for relationships and marriage down the road. Learn who you are first.

Im sure that there are plenty of 13 year olds like yourself who are dateable for you.

Why would you want to , 13 is still just a baby and you don't not grasp the responsibilities of marriage, or adult life it isn't all fun and games with everyday being overwhelmed in romance, being 13 you need to concentrate on having fun going out with your friends, not being stuck with a husband cleaning cooking, having financial worries, being 13 is just about being a kid not being a pretend adult.

No. Anyone having sex under the age of 16 is deemed raped and can press charges against the person they're sleeping with, even if consensual. Parents consent or not, you can't marry someone that young.
Gross.

Isn't that illegal for them to even be dating, much less getting married? The mother is seriously screwed in the head if she doesn't see any problem with that.
