You know because you can't imagine him leaving or hurting you no matter what. You know that if you ask him to meet you someplace or pick you up at the airport, he will be there. You know because he can make you laugh and make you think. You know because you can tell him everything without feeling embarrassed or threatened or hurt. You know because you feel like simultaneously like every day with him is a brand-new adventure and a familiar favorite. You know because he treats you with kindness, respect, and admiration. You know because he is your best friend in the world. You know because the two of you are a team. You know because he gives you time and encouragement. You know because he calls when he says he will and does the things he promises. You know because he will hold your hair back when you throw up and give you a lecture when you deserve one. You know because he tells you and shows you and you don't have a doubt in your mind, your heart, or your gut.

A lot of times guys may tease you in ways that an 8 year old might. They might come up with nicknames, or make fun of you in weird ways. I noticed guys get more physical too and definitely make more eye contact. Sometimes they even remember what you like! lol hope this helps.
