My family just makes me wanna get away from them. I have four sister the oldest one (22) is almost like my best friendbut we never talk about our problems but were heaps tight. My next sister (almost 20) we never talk, were completely different . Then there's the middle child (17) me and her get along but not as well as she does with me lil sister (13). She has a temper she used to hit me and my lil sis when we were younger but she matured since then but she would kick my ass if i didnt do what she told me no matter wat it was. Now my lil sis is doing some stupid stuff she smokes, drinks (like every weekend), and nows she pregant. I cant understand anyone in my family and my mum is always working i wish i could spend more time with her but she's always running around for everyone else. In my family i feel like they dont know that i exsist. And i dont see my dad anymore cause i already gave up on him he treats me like **** and he was abusive when i was younger. Should i give up or not??

my girlfriend had this sort of issue, she had an abusive dad when she was younger and has now had the step dad with her, her younger brother and her mums other son with them for around 8 years now, she (my gf) is moving here to tassie from wa this week because she just needs to get away from all of the crap that she has to put up with...anyway enough about us, now for answer to your question yes you should move out and live with a reletive or friend for a while so then maybe your family might just decide to talk to you again....or at least I hope they do as family should always be there for you no matter what..

I say get your moms attention and tell her you need to talk to now and you wont take no for an answer, then tell her how you feel.
Then based on what she says then go with that; if she says ill deal with it later keep bugging her about it , if that doesn't work and if you are in school go to the councilor and tell her whats up and maybe she can get your mom to go for a conference with all three of you; you, your mom and councilor. That's what I had to do. IF it doesn't work out then make the decision to move or not.

Well if u are living in an unsafe environment, then I think you need to go live with an aunt or uncle or someone your close with, and lives in a safe environment. Because abuse is just wrong. I'd get ur sisters out of there too, if they want to go. Just my advice.
