there is this HOT kid on my hockey team im in 7th grade and hes in, well, i dont know, possibly high school. when i fall, he helps me up. you never do that in hockey. we always talk during practice and we talked when we were in the penalty box together. i want to ask him out. i have practice tomorrow. should i just ask him out and give him my # or just give him my # or what??? pleez help

it seems to me that you don't know enough about him to ask him out (you aren't even sure of how old he is). I'm not going to say you're too young to date or anything like that, but I do think that you should try getting to know him better before you ask him out. give him your screen name or something less personal than a phone number--this way you can get to know him better without the seriousness involved in asking him out. and then, when you feel like you know who he is, it shouldn't be too difficult to ask him out.

When you talk with him, try to find out what grade he's in. If he's more than 2 years older than you there could be a problem. It would be better just to be friends at this point. 13 is a little young to be getting into a serious relationship.

If you are 13-you have no business asking anyone out-especially someone in high school. Yuck, what is this world coming to? How sad. My daughter is almost 12 and I would kick her butt if she asked me this or was even on the computer in yahoo questions!! Where are your parents at?

Sounds like he may be too old, but if you like him, wait for him to ask you. If you give him your number you may come across as being too pushy. Be patient.
