Do you opt for a shop's own brand cheap 40/50p one as it does the same thing, do you go for the more pricey branded ones that claim to do more good to your teeth, or do you stick to a particular brand because you like the taste or because you've always used it?

I go for which ever happenes to be the cheapest at the time of purchase.

They all contain the same basic ingredients so even the very cheapest brand will clean your teeth.

I generally use any brand name whitening toothpaste that is on offer in the store. There is always at least one of 3 for 2 or buy 1 get 1 free so I never need to buy own brands (they probably are as good put if I can get premium brand at own brand prices why not get the fancy packet?).

I learned that Zendium was the adults toothpaste when i was a child, and i learned to love it in my teenage years.
I am from Denmark and I can't buy it anywhere else (Im living in London now) so it makes it extra special to brush my teeth with it. It is a taste of home.
The special thing about it is aswell that it does not bobble (?) as much as fx Colgate (I DONT like Colgate), so it is not as strong which is a good thing. Apparently better for my teeth they say. And i believe them, especially as they are not as big of a company, and that makes them more trustworthy for me.
I guess it is a question of loyalty. Im a Dane and I use danish toothpaste. My boyfriend (he is american) does not like it,so I have it for myself.... another benefit :)

I use Colgate Total because it is the only toothpaste that feels fresh (not minty) after each brush.

Toothpaste is something that you use for some time so I wouldn't mind going for slightly more expensive brands but I usually make sure they don't get as expensive as £3.00

Crest Whitening Expressions Lemon Ice

Macleans because on the programme watchdog it claimed there was only two toothpaste on the market that covered all areas of protection

Macleans and Colgate total (which is too minty for me)

Colgate I have used it all my life and if I changed it now I feel as if I need to clean them again.
The funny part is that I never go for brand names apart from toothpaste and mayonnise!

I use AIM, because all the other kinds make me puke and I guess I have always used that kind. It is really cheap, like 99 cents or something.

I use Crest cause any other ones have horrible taste or don't get my teeth as white as I want.
